Heating enquiries for your business
Get Boiler Prices receives requests from homeowners who want prices for boiler upgrades, new central heating, radiators, system cleaning, heating controls and underfloor heating. If your business covers those jobs, Leads Do Work can help you find opportunities in the places you actually work.
A lead is a customer's enquiry and an opportunity to discuss and quote for a job. It is not a booked installation or a guaranteed sale. You assess the property, set your price and agree the work directly with the customer.
Choose work that fits your team
Set the services and postcode areas you cover in your contractor account. A gas boiler specialist might take replacements, combi conversions and cylinder changes, while a plumbing firm may focus on radiators and cleaning. Underfloor installers can select wet or electric projects that fit their skills. Only select gas work if the engineer carrying it out holds the relevant Gas Safe registration.
Before joining, companies are asked to provide relevant insurance details and references. Keep your service choices and coverage current so enquiries reach you for work you can price promptly.
How to get started
- Create a contractor account with Leads Do Work and add your business details.
- Choose heating services and the towns or postcode districts you are willing to visit.
- Browse available opportunities and choose a lead pack when it suits your workload.
- Contact the customer, arrange a survey if needed, and send your own written quote.
Lead pack options
Leads Do Work offers packs of 5, 10 or 20 leads. Five can suit a sole trader testing a new area; ten may suit a small team filling gaps in its diary; twenty may suit an established business able to respond to more enquiries. Check the current pack terms in your account before buying.
Turn an enquiry into a useful visit
Call while the request is fresh. Ask whether the issue is a breakdown, planned upgrade or renovation, and whether the customer still has heating and hot water. For a boiler job, establish the existing boiler type, flue position and hot water demand. For cold radiators, ask which rooms are affected and whether the problem appeared suddenly. For underfloor heating, ask about floor area, build-up and finish.
Confirm a survey time for larger jobs and follow it with a clear specification: equipment, preparation, system clean, controls, making good, commissioning, timescale and VAT basis. Explain any assumptions before the customer compares your price with another quote. Customer demand, contact rates and won jobs vary; no fixed volume is guaranteed.
