About Get Boiler Prices
Get Boiler Prices helps homeowners find local heating specialists for work they are considering. Tell us about the property once and we can pass your enquiry to up to four companies that cover your postcode and the type of job. They contact you directly to discuss the work and prepare their own quotations. Availability varies by area and service.
We are a matching service. We do not install boilers, employ the engineers or decide what they charge. Asking for quotes is free, and you can choose whether to go ahead with any of them.
Heating work we can help you price
A heating problem rarely points to just one answer. An older boiler may need replacing, but a cold room might call for a larger radiator or a look at the system balance. Specialists in the network can quote for:
- Boiler and heating upgrades, including combi conversions, flue changes, controls, magnetic filters and hot water cylinders.
- Complete central heating with a heat loss assessment, pipe routes, radiators, boiler and commissioning.
- Radiators for leaking units, cold rooms, extensions and refits, including new valves and pipe alterations.
- Power flushing and other system cleaning where sludge is affecting circulation.
- Smart controls, receivers and radiator valves where compatible with the existing heating.
- Underfloor heating using wet pipework or electric mats, with the floor build-up and controls considered from the start.
Who receives your enquiry?
Companies joining the network are asked for relevant insurance details and references. For gas appliance, gas pipework or flue work, the individual doing that work must be registered for the relevant category with the Gas Safe Register. Water-side radiator work does not by itself require Gas Safe registration. Electrical or unvented cylinder work may need additional competence and notification depending on the job.
You should still check the person and the written scope before commissioning work. Ask who will attend, which models and materials are included, what making good is covered, and how the system will be tested and handed over.
What happens after you enquire?
- Describe the current heating, the rooms affected and what you hope to change.
- Suitable nearby companies may contact you to ask questions or arrange a survey.
- Compare their written specifications as well as the totals. A quote for a boiler swap can differ because one includes a system clean, filter and controls while another does not.
- Choose a company if a quote suits you. There is no obligation to accept one.
For larger installations, a visit is useful: the engineer can check flue routes, hot water demand, heat loss, pipe sizes and the condition of the existing circuit before pricing the work.
